Has anyone here worked with any kraits? If so besides the fact they prefer snakes to feed on? How are they in captivity? Meaning do they stress easily? Being snake eaters are they canibalistic when trying to breed them? I'm assuming they do not fair well in captivity since you don't often see them available. Any info or experience would be helpful.

I have a friend who used to keep a couple of species of kraits.
I can pass on a few of the things he told me about them.
They are very secretive - always trying to remain hidden. He said they were very placid and not difficult to hook or manage during the daytime but that at night they were insane and impossible to hook or maneuver.
I really don't remember for sure but I think that he told me he had managed to get his eating scented mice.
I have never kept any kraits myself, but I hope this little bit of info helps somewhat while you are waiting for an actual krait keeper to notice and respond.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I was curious to if kraits were popular with elapid keepers since they are not often available. I would think breeding is difficult due to them being ccannibals.
