I have recently aquired a 2yr. female wagleri. She's well hydrated and has a great enclosure for her needs. I am having a great deal of difficulty enticing her to feed. I am aware that this species feeds every 30-40 days but I am alittle concerned as I think she is under weight. There is very little information out there so I was hoping to get in contact with someone experienced with these animals.

hi..i'm a wagleri keeper from Malaysia...maybe you can try a variety of feeders...the best to start off with are quails...in the wild they feed mostly on birds...so...that would be the closest...i personally have 1.2 of it and my close friend has 1.9...they are all feeding with no problems...we start all females on quails and switch to scented mice and then unscented mice...if it's male...it's much smaller...they feed mainly on house geckos and frogs...we did the same with them...start with geckos then move to pinkies...surrounding temperature plays a very big role in their feeding...it has to always be at the range of 28-32 degrees celsius...any lesser...it'll not eat or regurgitate...also if the snake is sick or infected with parasites...other than that they are quite hardy...one of the hardiest tree viper...do get back to me if there's still problems...

I'm sure there are people producing cb wagleri, wondering where i can find some and who will ship to Canada?
