Does anyone knows how old a Bitis nasicornis gets?
Someone told me ones that they don't get older than 6-7 years. Is that true?
(I know, my English is terrible... I'm from Holland...)

Hello Grietz.
Through my years of research I have been led to believe that the Rhinoceros Viper (Bitis nasicornis) can live between 15 - 20 years.
As an example, a friend of mine claims that one of his specimens lived for 12 years (it was an adult when it was aquired).
Therefore, Rhino Vipers are generally a long lived species.
