Hognose snakes also eat toads... lots of toads. I have had success finding those tiny little toads... the ones that look like ants on the ground... during the summer months here. I don't know how warm it is where you are, but if you go outside after dark and look under a streetlight or outside light where bugs swarm at dark, you'll find loads of toads if it's warm enough outside... it's hovering in the 40's here today, so I don't think I can find any until spring... you can also rub the toad on the pink to see if the hognose will take a mouse pink scented like toad... and then there's always "lizard maker" scent (I can't recall the maker) that you can use to fool an amphibian eater into eating pinks....
Good luck.

You can make "slurry" out of frog or toad and dip the pink in it, hogs almost always go for this. Don't use your mom's or wife's good blender though. Add a small amount of water to the F/T frog and blend away. You can freeze the slurry and use it next time.

Do you have any pet stores around? If not you can find frogs and toads at kingsnake.com, some people sell them as "feeders". Be careful not to get any frogs or toads from other countries or areas, some can be toxic to the hogs. My baby eastern hogs love pinks dipped in north american green tree frog slurry.
