I have seen several recent posts on finding snakes in NC/SC. I live near Charlotte. Any of you interested in planning some trips for the spring/summer in the Carolinas (or Georgia)?

I'm planning on going go the carolinas/georgia this spring. comming down from Wv. Anyone who wants to join in, the more the marrier. I'm not sure of the exact dates yet, but anyone who wants to go, or wants to me up, let me know

hey,this is justin,a 30 -yr. old,20 yr. hobbyist from washington,d.c....am planning a trip to georgia myself this march(20-23)...have had succes in n.c. twice last year-never been to ga,though...only info i've got is the annual /daily avg.wheather/temps,and a few cities to check around;would have to leave the rest up to my herping instinct,etc....don't plan on collecting-plan on shooting lots of good photos,though.tell me about your plan/exp.?!thanks.

I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC, and will be taking off work the week of March 22. Depending on the weather, I'll be doing some herping. If you're in the neighborhood, maybe we could get together. I'm a little older than you (52), been at it since I was 11, and lived in NE SC for 30+ years. I know a couple of spots.............

Hey Pug! I would enjoy taking you up on your offer to maybe get together in March in South Carolina. Since the date is not that far away, I wouldn't mind setting a day now. I like to put in for my days off in advance so that I can be assured of getting them.
You ever been to Sparkleberry Swamp or Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park?
