Hi everybody,
I was wondering if anyone knows about waglers viper venom. I'll take all the info I can get. Thanks

Here is all the info i have. Tropidolaemus wagleri is not considered a medically important species, due to thier generally docile nature and low occurance of bites yearly. But here is all the info i have gathered, all of it is courtesy of www.toxinology.com, great site, you should become a member.
Average yeild in dry weight is between 65 and 90 mgs.
Haemrhaggins are probably present, the only positive components are a mixture of procoagulants. Local effects have been reported as such; Local pain and swelling, bruising and bleeding and necrosis. I believe there is a pic in the snake bite section of the photo gallery here, of a wagleri bite. Check that out. Anyway sorry i cant be more help, nobody has really spent too much time on wagleri toxin, not much info out there.
