I live about 40 miles south of Atlanta and want to find some Eastern Diamondbacks. Does anyone know of any promising locations in central or south Georgia?

No way. Check out the range maps. You need to head pretty far south of Macon to find EDB's. Alma, Adel, Blackshear etc.

You had better had farther south, and check out sandy locations. But I can tell you that they could be hard to find. They are a lot more scarce than they used to be. Hope you find one.
