Hey Biff,
This hole trend started with the post about the Texas coral snake. The post from Chris is on that trend. For some reason I guess he thought I could not believe that the coral snake was front fanged. Which is not true at all. I took what buzztail1 said as fact. I just thought it would make a great trend for others to get in on. There where a few others that did not know and thought they were rear fanged to. So Anyway, I posted it on it's own trend. And got fired on from all sides. People telling me to do my own home work, people telling me in a smart a** way that yes it was a front fanged snake. Why can't people be nice any more ? Chris started these forums for people like me(someone that does not know it all) to ask and learn about reptiles. And you would think that you could do it with out getting your head slapped off for asking. There is only a few places on the net where people can come and ask things like this. It is to bad they have to put up with all the harassment just trying to learn something...........Fabian

Man, I feel really bad for what I thought I knew, and trying to help someone out. I even posted a link to a site that gives the same info I thought. I said I could be wrong, but gave the info to show that I didn't just make it up. I said I didn't know enough about corals to help the guy out, but tried to offer advice to the best of my knowledge.
Look what I started :(
It just makes me wonder why the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. would say that the snake is rear fanged if in fact it's not.
Once again, here is the link: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/expltx/jrnat/compare.htm
Very confusing
