Our C. cerastes were cooled at 60 degrees for 12 weeks. While cooling we misted them lightly every day. We were told to keep them seperate until the female shed. The male has shed and has now started digging a hole in the corner of his cage. Does anybody know why or what he is doing? Also does anyone have any different tips for breeding? TKS

Hi:
Mine is always re-arranging the substrate and digging holes. Some mornings she's cleaned all of it from half the cage...next morning it's moved all the way back.
May be "normal" for them... Sorry I could not shed more light on the subject.
Good luck,
Al

Thanks. We have had them for two years now and have never seen them act this way. We appreciate your input a lot. TKS
