Yes, I agree, more is better in this case. CSL does state 5-8 vials to counter act most bites. Plus I try to stock a bit extra for the "what if's in life" For instance: Another handler in the community takes a bite and there is a call for AV, since not every hot keeper has his own supply. I could part with some vials and have some left for me just in case "murphys laws" apply.
Best,
Al

I guess this snake would be one of the most expensive one to keep Safely. 27,000.00 dollars. That is a lot of $$ to keeping these snakes. But, again I am not ready for such a snake. Mr. Harrison Do you keep and or milk these snakes ?
Thanks,
Fabian

My personal opinion is that Hank Molt monitors the forums, sees somone mention having obtained a rare sp and then imideately puts it up on his site. I think he thinks he can get anything. Chances are he saw that Terry obtained them, didnt pay attention that they were for a zoo and figured he could just buy them or worse! Going by his past violations it wouldnt suprise me if stealing was an option from time to time!!!
Bottom line is that Hank Molt and Global Reptiles are bad news! Hell, the man even was tossed out of the Daytona show inwhich he helped orginize for having inproperly secured venomous!! Need I say more?
Just goes to show, dont belive everything you read!
Later,
J
P.S There may be some chance that other Inlands have found their way to the states but none which were legaly brought from Oz(as Terry mentioned).

I have coastal taipans and will be getting more soon if all the paper work gets approved. Like Terry says it takes time and permits to get these snakes legally.
I have extracted from taipans before. Bothrops and Daboia are harder.

There are no venomous reptiles illegal to keep which do not enjoy federally protected status (aside from zoning, youths, etc). It will be interesting to see where the specimens are originating from. I too, have heard that Mr. Molt doesn't actually stock the inventory he lists, but in fact he locates them and brokers them. Has anyone seen photographs or viewed these specimens first hand? Does he have a shop? $12 thousand would most certainly cover overseas freight expenses. Either or every chap has a right to make his way in the world as long as their business ethics are up to snuff. His hatred for venomoids should be applauded, and I wish other sellers would follow his example; however, I prefer to deal with someone who actually stocks inventory. This is my preference though. Dropshipping and brokering inventory in third party arrangements often result in a deal turning sour. Speaking from experience, I feel this practice is risky as one is forced to rely heavily on proper communication and integrity. Who knows? Maybe he has them now? If it were my interest and my money I would spend the extra few bucks, fly out, and pick them up. My only hope is that Chance doesn't buy them. KA-BOOM!
I am unaware of Mr. Molt encountering any legal troubles or violations. Can someone enlighten me? There is a thread on the board of inquiry which seems positive, but then again....it is only the BOI.
Terry if you have time, photographs of your specimens would be appreciated. Thanks!

I know some of his new adds on kingsnake.com like this one And it has a pic. of the snake. So he must keep some of them on hand.
$1600 CASH Only. I will deliver this snake to Hamburg if sold. This snake was captive hatched in Costa Rica in August 2002. Locality data will be provided to buyer. This snake is an extra male I have and is shown eating a large hairless mouse (eats 3-4 per feeding). These are very aggressive feeders...somewhat dangerous at feeding time.
"And Please lets keep the bashing reply's to our self's"
This trend was not meant to for that..
Thank you

You know I just checked out his site again. If he had all the reptiles he has posted on his site he would have to have a huge place. hell that is 10 times more reps. that most zoo's could ever keep. He must have a $hit load of money just to feed them all. I guess he is the biggest herp. dealer in the US if not the world. I know some big dealers from all over the world and they don't have half that many animals for sale. He must knows some big people.
