How's the herping in Georgia so far this year? CA has been great. Although I live in NorCal and have to go on long trips to find anything but oreganus. I'm looking in to making another trip out east sometime this year, the diversity of herps out there is awesome.

since january 1st
1 ringeck snake.
5 grey tree frogs.
9 red belly water snakes.
10 green and brown anoles.
15 five line skinks.
about 50 alligators.
2 banded water snakes.
1 worm snake.
1 garter snake.
5 oak toads.
2 pig frogs.
5 bull frogs.
unfortanaly no venomous snakes this year yet but i hope by the end of this year at least a copperhead or something.

3 black rat snakes
6 black racers
about 30 copperheads
6 canebrake and timbers
1 brown water snake
about 40 northern water snakes
too many ringneck snakes to count
too many worm snakes to count
a few brown snakes
1 bullfrog
about 15 common snapping turtles
1 river cooter
1 eastern painted turtle
1 eastern mud turtle
about 6 loggerhead/strip neck musk turtles
about5 stinkpots
about 15 gulf coast spiny soft shell turtles
about 9 eastern milk snakes
5 eastern king snakes
a few banded water snakes
about 20 gopher tortoise burrows but no tortoises
about 20 eastern box turtles
and alot more
