I understand your work and the fact that you meet all sorts of idiots who do anything from misshandeling to mutilating their reptiles. I hate this too. I want only the best for my reptiles, I just got a huge enclosure for my iguanas, at least for their size. Thanks for looking out for herps. Good luck in your job. Take care, Alex.
P.S.: you still haven`t told me what F.A.O. means...

Dear Alex: I do understand your predicament with keeping various herps in your area, and the difficulties encountered whenever they need attention of a specialist nature i.e veterinary...And for that, I can genuinely be sympathetic, it can't be easy. Yes, it's all too well for the likes of us over here in the UK, or for others in various parts of the USA, to take for granted the ability to take sick or injured herps to a vet. Whether the vets are herp specialized or not, they will (on my experience anyway) always try to help, or if not, forward the case to a more qualified/knowledgable person.
All I can say to you is, once again, the best of luck, Oh!, and F.A.O, is just a short way of putting " For the Attention Of..." Don't worry, it wasn't short for anything nasty!!! :-) Regards, David.
