I actually havent had a whole lot of luck with cobras eating. I had a pair of javan spitters that rarely ate when they were supposed to. They fasted often, they would not let themselves get sick, but they would fast. I had a forest cobra that only ever ate once for me. However he was sick. I had a spectacled that was a pain to get started. However he came around, I later traded him to Chance, for an EA green mamba, who ate really well. My albino monocleds took quite a while to get started, they would get spooked, or run away from even frozen quite often. I would need to put them in small feeding boxes.
On a positive flip side I am now having wonderful luck with cobras. My 1.2 monocleds (1.1 albino, 0.1 het) are very very aggressive feeders. my 1.1 Naja pallida are decent feeders, sometimes I must leave the prey in with them if they are spooked too much, but they eat everytime even if in shed.
but ABOVE all, my absolute best venomous feeder would be my male Indian cobra. If I come in the room without food and clean, he pays no mind. if I even get in a relative distance to his cage after handling rats upstairs, I couldnt open his cage if I wanted to. He eats anything from rats to mice to chicks to gerbils, hamsters, baby gpigs...
Non venomous would probably be scrubs or carpets. Ive had too many to pick a specific animal.
Rambling is what Im doing...but Im proud of my progress =)

I bought a Death Adder neonate from a vendor in Feburary (I'll hold them nameless for now) who swore is was feeding....right. I having to force feed that damn thing twice a week now, trying to get some weight on it. I keep offering food to see if she will eat on her own, at least she expends some venom in the process. She really gets pissed as you can imaging but what am I to do? She is really a nightmare to feeding.
Best,
Al
