Today I was looking on a site of available Antivenoms and did not see one for Trimeresurus species. If anyone knows about this all info appreciated. If I am not mistaken the same went for the protocol list also. This is the website I was on. I might have totally looked over it.

Thanks in advance

I dont think there is any antivenin for them, maybe a polyvalent but you would need to import it if there is one. Haven't heard of any fatal bites from any trimeresurus. I keep them and haven't even thought about getting any antivenin for them. I do stock some for my other charges though.

JR is right. It is know as "Thai Green Pit Viper" antivenom.
There might also be some cross reactivity with the old wyeth Crotalid AV.
Best,

I was involved in a case on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia where a young american missonary girls (18 yrs old) was bitten on the ankle be a T. sulawesi at night while walking on a path. She died in just 4 hours before she reached medical attention.
Yes they can kill and sometimes very fast.
