recently i was in florida, and while doing some stump ripping, i came across a fallen over palm tree, i slit the bark open with my hook and discovered 13 or 14 fairly large round eggs. ive been wondering what they were, ive ruled out coral snake, rat snakes and indigo snakes due to the shape. anyone have any idea what it may be?

You ruled these snakes out due to shape? I've had many eggs from the same species that very in shape from round to lond ovals. How big are they?

They could possibly be turtle eggs, though I would expect them to be buried in the soil.
