Three weeks ago my female constrictor gave birth to 17 babies (7 of them died or were still born). The remaining 10 all seem to be healthy and 5 of them have shed and eaten. My problem - One of the males hemepenis is protruding and won't go back where it need to be. I have not tried to force it in and have pretty much only been watching closely. He still has not shed or eaten. The organ is not discolored and does not appear to be swollen. I assume that this is something that should be handle by a vet - I'm just wondering if any one else has seen this in neonate boas.
Thanks for your replies - Matt

Several years ago, I had a Colombian red tail boa that i got as a neonate and he had the same problem, I watched it and made sure no infection was present and it went in all by itself after about a month. I don't know about your shedding and feeding problem which leads me to believe that it is possible that you have a bigger problem than i had with mine. I would see a vet about that. This probably doesn't help much but I thought it prudent to tell you about my boa problem.

Thanks - I'm not as concerned about the shedding. The ones that haven't shed look like they're about to in a day or so. No biggy.
