I am trying to get started selling copperhead venom I collect from my collection of copperheads. Can anyone give me a number I can call or any information who to contact to set up selling it and how to freeze it if needed. Any info would be greatly appreciated I am also looking to milk western diamondbacks also if there is a market for it.

He's right. There's pretty much not a way to sell your venom. But one thing is for sure, you're alot closer to the business end of the snake than I try to get.

Mamba,
There have been many instances of people looking to sell venom and just as has been stated, there is no market for the average joe or even the most experienced to extract clinically, then freeze and sell. There are only like 3 people in the country who have that priviledge. They have "Labs" setup, to accomodate the sterile conditions. Plus there is so much difference from one extraction to the other, that the average joe can't even imagine, much less account for. That being said, you also will have your hands next to the end of the barrel, which WILL without a doubt lead you to a nasty experience. Hopefully, you haven't yet or if you have, will now consider the information we've provided and not try to "milk" the snakes. Best of luck.

I didnt think the average person had a chance to compete with people like Bill Haase but I just wanted to get everyones input. I do not milk any of mine at the moment pinky pumping sucks but has to be done. that is as close as I like to get. Thanks for the replies
