Does anybody know what the best and (most convenient) material to make tin coverboards out of? I understand that tin from old barns is the best material, but I need something that is easy to obtain (a lot of) and not ungodly expensive. I have checked at Lowes and other building supply stores and all I can find are large sheets of galvanized tin. Thanks

hey, This doesnt really answer your question, but after you get the tin, I would sprinkle bird seed around it to attract rodents.(dog food, anything that rodents eat.) Sheets of wood work good also.

another thing is to ask people that have some in there yard. I got lucky and found someone that moved a trailer out and there was a lot of tin around the moving site. I asked him for it and he gave me ALOT.
