I have been on the quest for a female Aspidelaps l. lubricus for some time (about 2 years). When I have located a breeder/dealer who has these snakes and have negotiated a price, when it comes time to the actual monetary transaction, the breeder/dealer "mysteriously" bumps up the price $125-$200! How much is too much for a female Aspidelaps l. lubricus? I bought my male 3 years ago and paid $225. Was I just lucky on that acquisition or am I being jerked around? The contact wants $400 PLUS the shipping and handling costs ($100 approx.) which he wants to pass on to me!

I would not do business with and dealer that plays games. Who knows may get you $$ and send nothing in exchange. Be careful.
