When does most water moccasins go into hibernation. I have read in november. I think I will be going herping sometime after october 19. And I am wondering would that be too late. I really am wanting to catch another one before winter.

Hibernation dates are pretty well dependant upon location and weather conditions. I would try to pinpoint some literature specific to your search area.
