I know that there is no AV for Atheris envenomation. What I am looking for are bite protocols for this species to put on my clipboard for my "hot-room." If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. I have already checked all the usual protocol pages and come up empty. I'm quite serious about safety and just don't feel right about not having the information posted in my room "just in case" of the unthinkable.
Thank you in advance,
Vanyul

The clinical effects will include severe disruption of blood chemistry. There is also no specific antivenom, a combination of Echis, Cerastes and South Arican Polyvalent would be the only way to go. IOW, join the Florida Antivenom Bank. I'm not sure if they make arrangements for out of state supplies but I would be quite suprised if the procedures weren't in place.
Cheers,
BGF
