I have not been active in collecting in about 39 years. Just geeting back into it somewhat and have been reading up as much as I can. Somewhere I saw that the Louisiana Canebreak Rattle snake. Crotulas horridus atricaditus I think has a large portion of neurotoxin venom. Is this correct or did I misunderstand? Thank you

Yup.
Actually, in the last few years, some studies have shown atricaudatus venom to vary quite a bit from h. horridus. I don't know the percentages of the mix, but it has a fair amount of neurotoxins.
Personal specualtion and therefore meaningless: Canebrakes feed on a fair number of herps and a bullfrog is a lot harder to kill than a mouse. Therefore, the difference in venom.
Evolution in action!
