i have a large eastern cottonmouth, who has done well up till recently, his eyes clouded up like he was going to shed, and after a while his eyes went normal, i was expecting him to shed a few days later, and now its been 2-3 weeks and still no shedding. any ideas what the problem is? he has a giant water bowl that he can soak in if he chooses, so i know that is not the issue.

Put some warm water in a big garbage can. Drop the snake in & let him swim for fifteen minutes or so.

also add a 4 th cup of peroxide to that water. it will help with any surface infections without causing any harm to the snake.
