Where do you keep your venomous snakes. Do you keep them in your house? A seperate building? or somewhere else? Phillip

Gee Alex...wonder who did ask that questiion... ;-) Hi All: Well I used to keep them in my LOCKED snake escape proof bedroom when I was in an Apartment. The snakes were housed in Vision or Precision Cages with locks. It still caused me nighmares not for my safety but for others. I live in a house now and built a custom room in the Barn on the property. The room is 10x13 ft. A/C in the summer, heated and humidified in the winter. Exhaust fan for air circulation (weather permitting) with all precautions taken to prevent escape. Door is double-deadbolt locked and all cages are locked for additional security. Each cage has independant heaters and misting system depending on the snake contained. I may next year, make an adjoining room that will have large custom enclosures for BIG Hots I may add in the future. Cheers! Al
