As with many Constrictors you can use any type of alcohol to get the to let go. I use Jack Daniels and if my snake get me I spray him in the head or mouth and he lets go. It will give you a nasy bite and will need to be washed and treated with something like a overthecounter antibiotic. I know this works well becuse I have been bite many times and keep a bottle with me.
