Keeping death is one thing, playing with death is another. I hope the freehanding community knows that every time they put their hands on a Venomous Snake, the chances of losing our rights keeps getting higher. I am in no way trying to bash freehanders, but please think about the consequences this could have on our hobby. Let me put it the way I always do (Be safe ya'll and take no more chances than you have to for the sake of our hobby). Just my opinion, hoping to change the problems that plague our community.....Happy New Year, Wally

"The trick is to forget they can kill you"!?!? Idiocy reigning supreme with our friend Nick, I see. And the gentleman next to him, correct me if I'm wrong, is named Albert and has been bitten more than once due to freehandling accidents.

Who tout this guy to handle? I've seen some stupid things in my life, but free-handing one of the deadliest Species on earth like it’s a play toy, this guy is gone find himself pushing up daisies sooner or later. Nick, do you understand the danger in what you do? I have known a few keepers that say they are one with their Snakes and end up with limbs missing because of it. Just remember, if you freehand time will tell the tell. I will never understand why some keepers have to use this method of handling, when we all know you don’t have to do it. What do you think tools are made for?.........Be safe ya'll, happy herping Wally

I am for real, I am 24 years as of Jan 5th, I live in Albuquerque New Mexico. and anybody with enough nerve is welcome at my house to see how I live with my snakes. The venomoids I keep I retreived from people who bought them with out being able to lay the commitment these guys take. all the rest of my snakes. 2 praire rattlers and 2 black forrest cobras come out of their cages while I'm home and in the room they hang out with me.....around me......on me. and it took a while to get them to that point. the rattelers stay in their cages when to cobras are out, so as to avoid becomeing dinner. the venomoid Monacle cobra is a sweet heart and doesn't even hood much anymore. for All of you who think I'm bringing a bad name to this "hobby" I say it's all of the people who use sticks and hooks, who Pin and hurt the snakes neck "AND IF YOU USE A STICK YOU ARE!!!!!" are the one bastardising the purity of the act. I get along with almost any venomous snake. and I think the problem most of you can't get over is snakes are highly empathetic and when you fear them you give them reason to fear you.....hense reason to strike you. I think most of the people with venomous snakes today shouldn't even have them. If you can't hold your snake then ask your self do I have this snake to make my life more interesting or do I have it to make his life a little easier.
Once again Nick and his snakes
P.S. I'm not the Nick you were thinking of TJ
