Did any of you all get herp related loot this year? I got a set of Gentle Giants, a Pro Bagger, a Rattlesnake box, and a book on rattlesnakes...all from the mother who threatened to take me home from college when she found out I was working with rattlers! Just wondering what else was being recieved (or given) this year.

I got the Midwest bagger with the optional hook end. It is a little short for my taste but seems to be well made. The double bag idea is pretty nifty.
I also got a Robosapien. I know it isn't herp related but it sure is a hoot to play with LOL!!

Earlier this year, my wife - The Boss, bought me The Venomous Reptiles of the Western Hemisphere by Campbell and Lamar for our anniversary.
For Christmas we got each other autographed copies of
Venomous Snakes of the Southeast by Chad Minter which is available at http://www.envenomated.com/
She also got me The Amphibians and Reptiles of Costa Rica by Jay M. Savage, The University of Chicago Press copyright 2002. This is not a carry with you field guide but a table top book along the lines of Snakes of the Agkistrodon Complex. Last but not least she got me Reptiles and Amphibians of Europe by E. Nicholas Arnold and Denys W. Ovenden, copyright 2002. This is one of the Princeton Field Guides and is quite the interesting "little" book. It is exactly the same size and style as the Peterson Field Guide books.
This has been a very good year for my herp library which continues to grow and I love it.
So, how did Santa treat all of you?
