Oregon Venomous Snake Laws?

I have just been stationed in Oregon - can anyone tell me what the laws are regarding venomous snakes??? THanks Much!

The laws here in Oregon are kind of strange. The Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife has lists for both uncontrolled (legal) and controlled (illegal) species. Anything not on either list is illegal by default. Once you read the list, you will laugh your a$$ off. It will become evident to you that Oregons laws are definately written by politicains with NO real knowledge of what a "dangerous" animal or what animals can "adversley" effect the environment if escaped. I will try to find the link to the Oregon laws and controlled and uncontrolled species lists to post.
