This really depends on what kind of venomous snake. Texas night snakes are mildly venomous, and some Central and South American corals are quite small.

There is a snake in the faily Atractaspididae, a ssp of the Harlequine Snake, which is quite small. But i suppose that there may be smaller. It's in Dangerous Snakes of Africa.

there are several species of small venomous snakes,
One little one is the crowned snake of S. Florida,
at under 10"...very rare and rear fanged, but harmless to humans. Some African vipers are quite small, but the smallest hot snakes in the world are likely to be elapids. you should research tropical coral snakes, you may find what you are looking for in that area
