I just picked up two nice CB05 squams from Diamond Reptile Breeder. Is anyone aware of Adult Squams feeding on neonates?
Thanks,
Al

Al,
I can't say I have ever witnessed and cannibalism. However, I would keep them separate until there is a better size parallel. The mechanical damage alone they can do is not worth the risk. Plus you'll need them alone as they can be problematic little feeders at times and need their privacy. Groovy little snakes though, the Atheris are up there on the awesome snake list. (along with all the other species...lol)

Also, the few I've dealt with have had a tendancy to snap at anything that moves once they've been disturbed, so the chances of one biting another while moving them around is pretty high.

Thank's guys...Just that I'm away and a friend is gonna pick them up for me and want to make it as simple as possible. I will use my backup plan.
Cheers!
