this spring break im going down to central florida for five days and was wondering if anyone has any tips for herping in florida habitats?

On the way down(on the interstate) look of the side of the road and try to see if you can find some road signs that have fallen. Usually they will have alot of tin and debris around them. You can find a snake in just about any habitat in Florida just by walking and turning over logs and other debris. If you are driving and see an old abandon warehouse or any building with tin around it, check that out. Road cruise at night on backroads.
