A good website to check out is http://www.uga.edu/srelherp/ and the largest venomous snake is the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. They have been reported over 7ft.

Not speaking about any particular place or entity here, but it's been my experience that what happens to a snake depends on who sees the snake, and who is looking. I've even had a wildlife officer tell me that the best tool to handle snakes was a 12 guage :-( ugh.

Not sure I follow your question, if you are wanting to know the over all records, I have those. If you are asking the largest ever found in GA, I doubt anyone has that info. Here are the records, but I can not tell you from where they came:
EDB: 96”
Cane: 74.5”
Cottonmouth: 74.5”
Copperhead: 53”
Pig: 30.5”
Coral: 47.5”
