I have heard that feeding frozen/thawed doesn't promote as good of a growth rate or health as feeding live or prekilled. Can anyone share their long term experience with feeding frozen?

I'm not sure about health/growthrate, but I do know that freezing and thawing helps break the cells of the prey item. It just makes digestion that much easier for the snake so you could in theory feed more in less time without any ill effects.
