Nice going, Anonymous Curt.
The bite was *not* to the forehead. The press got a number of salient details wrong and that was one of them.
The snake was mine; I had left it in Melbourne so it could be picked up by a Florida reptile exhibit. I no longer live in that state. However the details of who was bitten are not mine to discuss in public. Unlike some people, I respect privacy.
As to the matter of this person being my boyfriend, it is neither wise nor polite to assume that because someone is handling my snake I must be handling his.
I will say that the bite was apparently caused by a misunderstanding in verbal safety protocol. The assistant to the handler was not supposed to enter the handling area to clean up until he had been given the all clear signal. He mis-heard a statement about preparing to move the snake into another room as the all clear signal, and he suddenly entered the handling area where the mamba was still out. The results were a very startled snake and a bitten assistant.
The person who was bitten is completely recovered, and the snake is doing fine also in its new home. That's all I can really say.

I'm glad everybody and everybodies snake(s) are doing fine. For a serious accident this thread has turned out to be really wacky. MS.TT seemed to deal with the anonymous excrement in stride..roflmao.
No wonder Ms.TT desires privacy in her life.
Cheers!

Okay folks, once again.
I have to work for a living.
Every day I come home, these children who apparently don't have to work have posted obscenities, innuendo and outright personal attacks which require removal.
I intend to remove all anonymous posts as soon as I find them (when I get home each day from work).
Please do not respond to these socially inept personages as I will then have to remove your response to maintain thread integrity.
If I could stop them, I would.
My apologies to those folks who were accosted or offended by these posters.
I am removing an average of 4 posts a day.
If you are one of the anonymous posters who actually treis to be responsible, stand by, anonymous posting is nearly at an end, even if it has to be by individual post removal.

Karl, I should have not responded the way I did to the "anonymous" poster(s) as I did, I am just tired of it. I am with you on this Karl..no more anonymous posting...it will stop the unnecessary (rude,rediculous..etc) posts. Again, I am sorry for even entertaining these folks! Thanks......
