I do not see how this can be "Natural" for any snake to eat. I never use these products, even the ones out for tortoises. I feel that natural foods for these animals are the way to go, NO SUBSTITUTES.

Great now I have visions of little gabbys in masks slithering through my screens at nights coming for my sausages!!!
The problem with these pre-fab foods is that they are almost always lacking in something nutrition-wise and we discover this somewhere down the line. Usually once enough animals have been effected that we can trace it back to that item. There are a lot of substitute animal feeds out there, just visit the Mazuri site some time, the zoo field is fraught with them. But not all good. There was a carnivore diet out there that damn near killed quite a number of zoo cats years back due to it's deficiencies (it originally had everything, then sold out to a different maker who changed the ingredients). There can be major problems with feeding inadequate foods, even those that seem whole. St. Augustine’s Alligator Farm had crocs losing teeth at a fairly good rate. They finally traced it back to the fact that they had switched to feeding nutria that were already gutted, and thus had no liver or other internal organs to provide adequate vitamin E and thiamin. A simple little thing that didn't seem important at the time turned out to be quite important indeed. Precisely why these sausages are not real high up on my list of things to run out and purchase. I can get everything I need from a rodent, and at a reasonable price. Why risk it? I am the first one to encourage people to look for a niche in the market and fill it, and hopefully make a buck or two, or a million, but not at the expense of health, and not with something that isn't broke.

Doug: I do enjoy my mouse flavored coffee in the mornings, LOL ! One of these days I am going to buy a cheap micro just for thawing reptile food.
I can see the relatives coming over when I am out, and saying, "we were hungry, so we grilled up those kebasa we found in your freezer" ! Guess I am gonna need a cheap freezer just for reptile food also, LOL !
