Definitely not a Yellow Rat Snake, Coachwhip, or Crowned Snake.
I will give the other experts here a chance before I close this out.
It is not venomous.

Although the pictures aren't great, the spotting makes me want to say Storeia dekayi spp. The facial pattern is up in the air as I don't know what the Brown snakes in your area look like, even then patterns and colorations vary widely.
For your area, that's about the safest bet.
Although, for all we know this may be another one of those "Yeah, I posted some South American Orinoco River Mushroom snake to see who would catch it" kind of things given the fuzzy picture...LOL

looks like a common brown or dekay snake to me we have quite a few in this area and I must say I see more of these herping every year than anything else

The photo looks like a brown snake, Storeria dekayi. You live in an area where the northern brown and midland brown snakes ranges overlap. They are highly variable. As they get older, the light collar on the neck will eventually dissapear.
