Don't mind the cat calls and so on...you go girl! If GOD gave you a gift, utilize it. By realizing your gift, you're better off than most...often times gifted individuals never get to know their gifts. Will Midwest be paying you for these layouts?
It's not every day that these guys get to see a person of the opposite sex who is into our passion for venomous reptiles, let alone one who has better than average looks. I imagine that as an EMT, you have a good heart. Something I've yet to tell Chris, is that I studied at George Washington U for Fairfax County Fire and Rescue to take my Paramedic exams...but as fate would have it, I didn't put my whole heart into it. I couldn't stand going on those calls that were so far gone that there was no hope, but your efforts had to be 110%, then having to tell the spouse you've done all you could and the ER doc called it. That kind of sinking feeling, I really couldn't stand. Anyhow.
Congratulations on your exploits with Midwest. Welcome to our community and the best of luck to you if you decide to go further into the realm of emergency medicine.
Chris...thank you for bringing a new "YOUNG" person into our community and hopefully the guys won't be too harsh and scare her away from this forum. If she's been around the fire house long enough, I'm sure she'll be fine with the ribbing that these guys give.
On a side note Chris, when you get a chance, I'd like to talk with you about my preparation plans for my southern migration...to your neck of the woods.
