Does anyone know where you can find a chart on the internet that shows the different morphs of corn snakes and what you can breed together to different ones?

Personally I don't understand why so many people want to take a gorgeous snake and make it ugly.I've never seen a morph cornsnake that I liked.Just my opinion.Marty

It's all about keeping things interesting, especially to snake laypersons, and sometimes it's about lining one's pockets. I'm trying not to say this in a bad light, because I personally don't see any problem with being rewarded for one's hard work in producing offspring. I also don't have a problem with breeding morphs of these species, because I think they're what's helping to keep the hobby alive and thriving. Yes, you may be a die-hard "naturalist" (for lack of a better descriptive word), but keep in mind, probably the majority of serious herp keepers/breeders out there either have morphs or want them. And who wouldn't nearly wet him/herself if a random albino/leucistic/whatever popped out of an egg or birth in a species where it was previously not known? Are you saying you would quickly and quietly destroy this baby before it could do any "harm" to the naturally colored ones? I'm doubting it. But of course I don't know for sure.

I agree with Marty and Greg that the natural color variations of wild corn snakes are far more beautifull and interesting than any of the ``frankensnake`` mutants that are bred for profit.
This is not to say that I would not try to keep the line going if I happened to have an albino corn snake born, but I do not like the commerciaization of wierd morph corn snake, king snake, and ball pythons that we see at reptile shows.

Chance,I'm not sure where you dreamed up this "die hard naturalist" thing, but its not me."Its all about keeping things interesting".I find snakes fascinating, without trying to "morph" them.If it happens naturally, then thats even more fascinating. What I don't like is "morph factories".I think the corn snake is one of the best looking snakes in the USA, all I said was that I don't see why anyone would want to change that.I've seen alot of other albino and morph speicies that I think look awsome.(some of the cobras and WDB's and retics for example)If your into morphs, more power to ya,I didn't mean that I thought it was wrong,I'm just not into it. I apologize for my obvious wreckless use of wording. The "you" I said was the implied you, as in, to anyone who might be reading my post. I wasn't meaning you specifically, Marty. I had no idea what you personally exactly believed about morphs, so I was trying to make my statement a generalization. Sorry for the misfire.
