The longest fangs in the world(as far as snakes are concerned) belong to: the large Bitis species(puff adders, gaboon vipers), the russells viper(Daboia russelli), the bushmaster(Lachesis sp.), large Bothrops(lance-heads).
I heard many stories: gaboons and bushmasters are said to have 2 inch or 5cm long fangs. I also heard that Bothrops asper has 6 cm long fangs and I heard that Daboia russelli has 7cm long fangs.
But I wouldn`t believe the stories about BOthrops asper and Daboia russelli.
Cheers,
Alex S.

I agree with Marty. Is this guy a troll or are his brains just fried? At first I thought he was just an idiot, but now I suspect he is intentionally trying to disrupt this site... since his nonsensical posts continue.
