Well, thought I'll have a change of atmosphere over here. I have a what seems to be a kalimantan phase wagler's (yellow and green) in a 20 gallon tank that has been established, with all the plants growing them for at least 2 months. Well, introduction was pretty smooth..but after 2 weeks the wagler's viper apparently have other ideas and practically squashed all my beautiful plants. So much for a display tank :(.
Any idea how to stop this? The tank looked somewhat like a jungle going under serpent deforestation. Getting sick of plucking yellowing leaves and all that such..Sigh.
Maybe simple is better. In the end instead of worrying of the snake I worry of the damn stupid plants....
I'll try and get a pic up soon

I keep alot of arboreal vipers, and I've found the best way to go is plastic or artificial plants,Also, waglers require much larger cages than most other arboreal vipers, especially the females.A large female may require a 40 breeder or a 55gal.She will be much more content.Hope I could help,Brook Berntson
