I am hereby serving notice to all concerned:
I recommend that everyone fill out their profiles at this site to the best of their ability.
Do I care if you have serious advice for new keepers? Not nearly as much as I care about the folks that give bad or frivolous advice.
But, if you plan to give advice or sell something on this site and your profile says you are a professional bum or a pimp or drug dealer or some other joke or representation of disdain - I plan on recommending against buying anything from you or accepting your advice.
If you have a legitimate reason to conceal your true name (such as being a researcher or zoo keeper or DNR agent or some other professional person whose superiors would not appreciate your posting here) feel free to email me the specifics of your situation and I will review your individual situation. There are lots of people out there who could tell you that I am quite capable of being discrete, but of course they won't because that might violate the whole discretion thing if you catch my meaning. I believe my posting record will stand up to most scrutiny.
Either way, I am looking at having a LOT more time to monitor this site and the days of unidentified vendors indiscriminately trying to take advantage of our site visitors are numbered.
You have been warned.

As an experienced and respected pimp, I find these comments highly offensive!
:) Good for you Karl. I wish you didn't have to waste your time on such things...
