non-related to venomous snakes i know,
but would anyone happen to know of any breeders?
of any caecilian species?

Nigel: I do not know of anyone breeding caecilians here in the states, but sure hope you might find some.
They are really interesting to keep. Long ago, I kept a few of them that were sent to me from a friend in the UK.
They are a not well known and under-appreciated animal.
I would suggest that you contact some of the folks who raise and sell dart frogs on the internet, as there is sort of a cross amphib interest there, and I would bet some of them have connections to caecilians.
If you do find a good source, let us know here.
In the mean time, I will make some inquires to some friends.
