I would just like to know why it is that when I reply to an idiot who has posted a totally useless and offensive reply mine gets deleted, Why dont you take your fingers out your arses and check all the posts properly and remopve th offending post to begin with, I thought that you had much more time to mod this site, if so I cant see it, in the features maybee but not on the posts. you will be doing alot of deleting if this isnt deleted from my post immediately I am sick of people tryin to be funni, Its not as if it was hard to make up something funny from a question about a problem likethat, It doesnt take a genius to make a joke out of the post, but it does take brains to answer it!!

thanks ricky my own was deleted possibly because I was a bit rude in my reply but the point remains. I made a mistake in the question and thought people would be abvle to understand what I truly meant and not to be sarcastic, keyz.

At first I wanted to stay away from this thread.
It was obvious that Kieron has asked a legitimate question, and wanted help with his corn snakes.
And in answer to that, Kieron, keep using the topical antibiotics. It is possible that there is a infected fatty deposit, but it could be some sort of other infection in the cloacal tissues. You might want to give oral antibiotics also in the food or water of the snake, as the infection could be more wide spread than the local tissues.
When I read the response form BeckyJane98, well I am thinking it might be just in fun, sort of a joke. Perhaps it was a European thing, as Keys and BeckyJane are both from Europe. So I left it alone to see what kind of follow ups we would see, and to see if the system administrators would pull it.
If the reply was in fun, then hopefully BeckyJane will say so. And hopefully she will let Kieron know that she meant no harm. He is rightly sensitive to attacks, as there were many in the past. Hopefully, No harm, No foul.... There is nothing to suggest from BeckyJane`s two previous posts that she is a troll or was intentionally attacking Kieron. Could be it was just in fun, as her profile says she is an MD and OBGYN, and that type of humor sounds like something some of my medical frineds would joke about.
What does sort of nag at me though are the old posts by Spongebobnopants and LingLing, who were banned from the site. Many of their posts were personal attacks on Kieron and other Europeans. I am hoping that this is not what we are seeing again, with personal attacks starting under another name. Hopefully, it is not time for Chris to fire up the grill, and stick a fork in another one, LOL.
BeckyJane, if you read this, please let us know if you were just joking, as your two previous posts show you to be a legitimate reptile keeper looking for a site to visit. I sure hope that is what this is.
Just a couple of thoughts on this topic.

I agree, it actually made me chuckle. I find humor in some things, and try to not let internet stuff bother me, though.
Personally, if you feel someone is a troll, ignore them. It's really that simple. The mods on here are volounteers, so more than likely, "they don't have the time" to delete every post that someone finds insulting. You, however, do have the time to choose whether or not you want to read and reply, or not read and reply. It's amazing how much this site has changed because people can't ignore certain posts.

i've modded forums that have about 25x the traffic this site does......30 minutes a day is plenty to mod everything

and to elaborate on the above post by that sexy beast (me), the time to mod isn't an issue...not insinuating that they aren't trying.......just that there are other reasons involved.....
but those coming to this site for humor are messed up......you want to hear jokes at your kid's funeral? probably not.......if i'd made that thread, i'd be agitated at the fact that one of my "bad" posts was deleted after another "bad" post was left up......no justifying it at all
