Wich three rattlers have the hottest venom.One being the hottest three being the mildest? Wich species is C. ruber

Very difficult question..basically due to a high number of variables. That said, the top of the list is most likely the Mojave, C. scutulatus. You'll probably see agreement on that, but beyond that is open for discussion. This is why: Within the range of the eastern diamondback, its venom toxicity can vary greatly. This may well be true for other species, such as horridus. I am not sure, but I think you will find that ruber is not up there with some of the others. It is my opinion that the EDB(C. adamanteus) is one of the most dangerous animals in North America due to a combination of its size, venom toxicity & proximity to man. There are others with more toxic venom, but none get as large. The attitude of some individuals is awesome.

As far as I'm aware the C tigris has a potent venom,drop for drop,similar to the mojave.But the tigris lacks the quantatie.Hope this helps.
