I've found some oregano, some basil, and some nutmeg.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. A few of us took a trip to Costa Rica and found way too many to list....it was the best herp trip I've ever had. You didn't even need to look, they were everywhere. Some of the highlights were eyelash vipers, cat-eyed snakes, a very docile fer-de-lance, and poison dart frogs. Very cool.

This has been a very good season for me. I have caught about 20 Midland and Yellow Bellied Water Snakes, 3 Black Kingsnakes, 4 Black Rat Snakes, 5 Gray Rat Snakes, 2 Eastern Garter Snakes (1 was a DOR), and 3 Cottonmouths (1 was a Juvenile DOR with very bright coloration ). This Year has been a lot better than last Year, I guess it’s due to the amount of Rain and Mild Weather we have had here in North Alabama this Spring. Hope it continues to be this way. What I am afraid of is that it will be another Dry and Hot Summer. ............................Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

i also found a little toad, i know they are not uncommon or all that but i was really pleased. ive noticed that lately and maybe its just me that i seem to be seeing less and less each year, and i was just so ecstatic today, when every i try o go herping i rarely find anything more than a box turtle so the king was an absolute joy (sence it was my fave snake anyway) i wonder why it is when ever i go looking and come prepared i never find anything and then i go and am unprepared i find everything lol found some real nice plants i need to id too. (yes plant freak here but please excuse the title
