Hey guys sorry its a long time since ive posted but i'm glad to be back here again and am still seeing the same names so thats good, Anyway the question is baisically is there any difference between a Dwarf Sonoran Boa and a mexican boa, as I have recently bought a Boa labelleed as a Mexican but I have also seen identical snakes been called dwarf sonoran boas... I came to you guys because I know that you are all very good at calling a snake what it is not a "general" term like Mexican boa. It is still under the latin Boa constrictor imperator, but its not a morph apparently!! so any suggestions on this guys will be appreciated. Good to see you are all still doing O.K. regards keyz.p.s. ill try and post a picture of it on my profile or in the relevant section guys.

Keyz, I'm not an expert but since nobody has answered I'll try. Mexican boa may be any B.C.imperator that lives in the Mexico. However not all of them are the Sonoran Dwarf boas. It greatly depends on their locality. The dwarf boas are very small and come from the Tarahumara area the boas from the southern Mexico get pretty large. Unfortunately they may all be referred to as Mexican boas. So if you have a Sonoran Dwarf boa it would be a Mexican boa it just doesn't necessarily apply the other way :)
