I read an interesting statistic earlier today in field and stream that stated in the us i believe something like 9-15 people die each year of snake bite, but a 100 people die each year from choking on ball point pens. Take care.
Sincerely,
Dave

how do you choke on a ball point pen? shows that anything can be just as dangerous as keeping snakes, although i must say that keeping hot is a bit more dangerous than keeping a ball piont pen

I don't know, but don't quote me on the rest of the stats I am about to present, but 43 percent of bites were provoked and 50 percent were dry bites, also I believe like 43 percent of people bitten were drinking or had alcohol in their system. I don't know how people would choke on a pen or any part of it, but sadly I believe it. I also read another story in Maxim a while back about a man who was driving home and I think he lived somewhere in the south west and he stopped and pulled over because he saw a rattlesnake on the side of the road, so he got out of his vehicle and just grabbed it and stuffed it into a plastic bag, well of course he was bitten multiple times while doing this and he put the bagged snake in his backseat and while he was driving the snake got out of the bag and he just reached back to grab and got bitten several more times. I don't remember the full extent of his injuries, but I do remember that he lost his arm and he lived. That is messed up.
Sincerely,
Dave
