John Z I watched the special on Rom hunting the Giant Crocs tonight. Kinda cool to put the man in picture you got in Atlanta to someone on TV. It was a interesting program.
Oh and a few weeks ago we were watching National Geographic and saw the Special with Thomas hunting for the water cobra (I think, got sometimers some time).

Cathy, you are so right! Just watched Rom on the PBS Nature Channel on his "Supersize Crocs" Special.
It will air again tomorrow night and next week on PBS and your local PBS affiliate on the "Nature" Series.
Rom is travelling the world looking for the worlds largest Crocodile.
This is an excellent show for all here to watch. Rom is such a great Ambassador for the reptile world ! His past shows on King Cobras and Indian Crocodiles and Cobras were great.
Rom is still a laid back Southern Boy in many ways! That is what makes his approach to reptile study so fasinating! He can teach you about almost any animal in a matter of fact laid back way! It is fun to watch what he does and how he approaches reptile study!
Friends, look for this new Nature Show on your PBS affiliate. It is great. And watch for repeats of his other shows on Animal Planet and National Geographic!
Best Regards JohnZ

John, You are absolutely right. Rom is one of the best Reptile Show Host you could ask for “as you say, being Laid Back is his Trade Mark”. I think one of the Best Shows he ever done,, was the one on O. Hannah, remember the one with the Male Named Elvis “LOL”? This man really has shown our Community how Reptile Shows should be done.
Rom, you deserve all the Respect in the world Brother. Keep it up.
Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

Does anyone have Rom's contact information? Our facility is going to have a grand opening for a large venomous exhibit in a year (hopefully) and our foundation wants me to bring in a "big name" reptile guy. In my opinion, Rom is "the guy" as I also like his style and approach towards reptile conservation. I looked at his facility but couldn't find any contact info (maybe i'm blind).
Thanks a bunch,

Rob, the best person who could tell you how to get in touch with Rom would be Heyward Clamp, at the Edisto Island Serpentarium.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards JohnZ
