My name is Shawn, I am 30 years old, Married, father of 4 and 1 on the way... I have been HERPING and field collecting for personal enjoyment since I was 8.. That is when I caught my first Copperhead... I have since had experience with Cottonmouths, Copperheads, WDB's, and hundreds of NON-venomous, I keep now 2 (female) Burms, a pair of Red-tailed Boas, 1 Miami King (male), 1 Brooks King (male), 1 Yellow Anaconda (female), 1 Tangerine Milk (female)and every spring I find at least 6 Northern Copperheads to watch for a while, (last spring I had 2 females give birth while in my care!!! 18 neonates!!!) I work in a State Park with Horses and around customers/small kids, every year I find these Copperheads near where we have our waterhose hooked up, which is near where all the kids play, so I have the duties of catching them from there and releasing them further out in the Park away from human contact, but last year I noticed that 2 of the females were gravid, so I took the opertunity to keep them for a little while so I could watch the amazing births first hand!!! Tiny/Venomous little replicas!!!!I have pics somewhere... I am now in college for Biology/Herpetology and hope to graduate in a few years...

hi man glad to have you join the site like cro said you might want to update your profile because alot of members wont speak to you if you dont. enjoy and feel free to ask anyone about any thing they have helped me alot here
