I was just curious and buffalos are very big and very strong.
Saltwater crocodiles are also immense.
My question is could a fully grown 16 foot saltwater crocodile take a water buffalo in the water.
I think Nile crocodiles might be stronger and more agile than a saltwater crocodile of equal size, but I am not sure.

While I can't say for sure, since I have never witnessed this in any form or fashion....I would have to say yes. Saltwater crocs are the largest, most powerful reptiles on the planet and I think a full grown adult would make short work of an adult buffalo. I'm sure we have all seen the clips of Nile crocs plucking water buffalo off the shore like ragdolls, so I have no reason to believe the attack power of crocodilis porosys (excuse my spelling) would be any less than that of crocodilis niloticus....

funny question that one.
Believe me...I've captured both and both are VERY strong and agressive...C. Porosus are supposed to grow a lot bigger than C. niloticus...but in nature that is not that evident...but in any case...poor buffalo...
